Top 5 Travel and Local Apps in Austria: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the top travel and local apps in Austria demonstrated varied performance across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

EasyPark - Parking made easy saw a notable upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 7.9K at the beginning of April and peaking at around 12.1K in mid-June. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users increasing from approximately 223K to 254K by the end of June.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel also experienced growth, with downloads rising from 7.9K in early April to a high of 11.5K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, starting at 547K and ending at about 565K, with a significant increase in mid-June.

Austrian Airlines recorded a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 6.2K and reaching 7.9K by the quarter's end. Active users rose consistently, starting at 48.6K and peaking at 71K in late June.

The UK ETA app's downloads were initially high at 18.3K but stabilized around 4K to 6K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a gradual increase from 21.6K to 21.3K, reflecting a stable user base.

Lastly, GetYourGuide: Travel & Tickets had a mixed performance with downloads fluctuating between 3.8K and 5.9K. Active users showed an overall upward trend, peaking at 56.8K at the end of April before stabilizing around 45K.
